Brass Book

Artist and writer Stevie Ronnie has worked closely with Easington Writers Group, Lanchester Brass Band and musicians from The Sage Gateshead to produce the Brass Book. This is an innovative project that delves deep into concept of the book in the digital age by bringing together poetry, traditional craftsmanship, dynamic technology and vibrant performance.

Brass Book was commissioned by Durham City Arts with support from Durham County Council, Arts Council England, The Sage Gateshead and Culture Lab.

The exhibition programme has been made possible through the kind and generous support of Palace Green Library, Durham University (launch venue), Seaham Library, Bishop Auckland Library and Galleries Goldstein at Goodwood, London.
